Dr. Shenae Whitehead is a licensed psychologist and the founder of Heart to Heart Counseling and Wellness Center, PLLC, where she provides psychological services for children, adolescents, and adults. Dr. Shenae Whitehead has experience in trauma-informed therapy, including eye movement desensitization and reprocessing, cognitive processing therapy, trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy, and Theraplay. She also has experience conducting psychological assessments for military entrance processing, US Department of Veterans Affairs disability exams, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder, autism, and learning disorders.

Dr. Whitehead has developed expertise in clinical psychology through education and hands-on experience. She earned a bachelor of arts in psychology from East Carolina University, followed by a master of arts in professional counseling from Liberty University and a PhD in clinical psychology from Fielding Graduate University. She was recognized in Fayetteville’s 40 Under 40 class of 2020.

In addition to her work, Dr. Whitehead is dedicated to community service and advocacy. She is CEO of The Stacy Jones Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization supporting foster children, low-income families, and young women pursuing higher education. She also volunteers with Meals on Wheels. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, shopping, and spending time with family.
